    Hi Kasia,

Those are some very nice samples of Icelandic coins you have :)

The 1 Aur from 1946 is actually hard to find in UNC and the 1 1940 Krona is very nice sample

The 2 Kronur from 1925 is one of my favourit kingdom coins. Over all very nice set of coins !

Thank you Siggi, I don't know anything about this, but I saw some of the coins being posted on CoinTalk and they are really good looking. I hope to follow some of what you and the others are saying on these coins, so I can learn more.

Yes Kasia, you're #29 on the membership list. I don't collect Icelandic coins and I'm not a member myself, but somebody has to do the administrative work. The Icelandic collecting types are all about the coins and have no interest in the details of organization. Geez, all I do for these guys...and they don't pay me a dime...ER...a Kronur.

    WOW!,
VERY Nice Kasia! That is a GREAT start! Welcome to the darkside from #3 LOL! A couple of those are fairly hard to come by. Kingdom era is the hardest to find in decent shape, they are also the most fun to collect, you did very well. If you have questions ASK! If you can, ask before you buy too. We can tell you if its a good or bad deal.

We are going to need our own fourm here soon!, that would be outstanding, LOL. Siggi we need to start planning our Christmas party at this rate!

Again Congrats on your coins and welcome to club! I'm looking forward to seeing more photos from you!

    Yours Truly.

Nobody told me about a Christmas party and I'll be the one planning it. Do you realize the logistical nightmare it would be if it were held in Greenland? Come on guys give the administrative staff (ME!!) a break. I say have it in New "Joisey" because most of the members live here (well, I do anyway)...Come on Mark, Tony, I need your help here. Guys...are you there...Mark...Tony...anybody!
