...After nearly six weeks of waiting for the six Icelandic Kingdom Era coins I sent to NGC,,,I found out this late morning on how well they did and I couldn't be more happier,,,Out of the six coins four were upgrades ,,one was a new addtion ,even though it was a common coin with out much value ,but was very hard to find in a grade above 62 to 63 and the sixth coin came back as the same grade as the one I already had but without the minor stains on it. All in all I'm very pleased with the out come of my submission to NGC. The coins below are the results and the coins I had before. 1926 1 Eyrir MS-63.....Now I have a MS-65 1922 10 Aurar MS-63....Now I have a MS-65 1936 10 Aurar AU-58....Now I have a MS-64....Woo Hoo 1940 25 Aurar MS-64....Its a New addtion to the collection...it was hard to find one this good. 1940 1 Krona AU-58....Now I have a MS-64....Woo Hoo 1940 1 Krona N/GJ MS-63...Now I have a MS-63,, that looks so much better then the other one. That is GREAT NEWS my friend! Congrats!!!, and I still like you LOL. I can't wait to see the photos. What are you gonna do with those Ugly old MS coins that these are replacing? You really shouldn't keep them in the same house, they could very well have cooties now. Just bring them down to the Philly show, I'll take care of them for you I'm still looking for the bag too, LOL.

Thank You ..Ken. Its a Specimen 1940 1 Krona SP66 graded by PCGS. I also have the 2 Kronur in two different metal types that was also graded by PCGS and both of them are SP65's. They are from the EX-King Norton Mint collection in England,,Which was the mint that struck them around 1940 to 1941. They came from a dealer in California that worked for some big time dealers and Auction houses in Europe and is now living in California,,,,I think he got them from someone in England a few years back. Guðni...AKA Tony Here are a few pictures of the 1940 SP-65 2 Kronur's I Don't know why the lower image is here.
