[h=2][/h]I found a 1999 wide AM that has a capped die on the obverse. You can just barely see Lincoln and you have to look very close to see the date. (the light has to be shining on it just right). Impossible to find any WAM's from branch mints after '95, IIRC (Don't remember the exact year, but it was definitely before '98), as each mint was sent a master die for each year, and hubbed their own dies after that. So if you have a 1999-D WAM, then all 1999-D's would be WAM's. This is a 1990-D. Still a very nice coin.
After looking again very closely It does appear to be a 1990. It is very hard to see the last digit clearly. Any idea of how to value it?
You'd have to ask an error expert. Capped dies like that go for decent money, though. Definitely a keeper.
