Thinking about getting the complete 2011 proof coin set.

    Most local dealers and B&M shops are selling these for $39.90. I would check your area first before spending $56 from an online source.

    And therein lies the rub. Reading your initial posting in this thread I thought that might be the case. As budget allows, so goes your collection. There is nothing wrong with purchasing the "clad". And, it's not a bad looking set. :)

    I'd like to know the story if you want to tell it. I like Presidential history a lot. The shortest lived Presidency ever.

    Well you did say "complete" so why haven't you ordered both of them yet? Yes there are some dupes but to get them all you would have to.

    As the 9th president, he only served 2 months in office because he gave his inaugural address in the freezing rain and snow. He got very sick, but ignored that fact and partied on through the inaugural what not. And a couple months after died of pneumonia. He was also the first president to die in office.
