1713 Spanish Gold Coin

    I've had this coin for about 20 years now and have no idea what it is or what it's worth. Can you help shed a little light?
    It's about an inch in diameter and has HISPANIA RVM RBX on it. Here are a couple photos:

    Get an expert to look at it!!
    A lot have been copied for jewelry

    What is it that stands out to you as being fake? Just curious.

    Well for one thing, Carlos III did not become king until 1759.

    I would get an expert to check it out. I agree that it is fake but if it is real gold (like some are) you might still have some money.
