    It almost looks as if someone started to tool the coin to turn it into a hobo nickel. Is anything done to the reverse Kentucky?

    I thought the exact same thing Bruce, and then saw you comment, lol. Think about it, they need to practice somehow, and a coin you can simply spend your rejects on is the best way to practice, even better than no date buffs.

    the reverse is perfectly fine. nothing has been done to it.
    suppose now i will look up hobo nickel
