    Sweet Nero! ;)

Its a nice morgan, I am just not a fan of morgans despite my last U.S. coin being a AU 58 1878 8TF. Too damn common :/

Yeah its one of my least favorite us coin types. It was only $25 and I wanted a slabbed coin.

Cant go wrong with a Morgan for $25.

I just get tired of seeing the same coins over and over & thats usually Morgans and Wheat backs. I love seated liberty, standing liberty and draped busts. My fave is the peace dollar though.

At least with ancients I can see the same fallen horseman & enjoy it cause each one is unique.

Bill sold the site. He no longer runs it. The new owners have redesigned the site. I left VCoins as a seller because I could not get issues I was having with the site addressed by Bill.. or anyone for that matter. I am still on the dealer EMail list for the site... I can tell you that the dealers HATE the redesign and have DEMANDED that they return it to the old layout or they will be leaving the site. Look for big changes at VCoins... and I can't say they are going to be for the good.

Its been a big topic on some ancient messageboards.

As I type this the search has gotten better and isnt coming up with errors like it was but they are still listing sold coins in the results and advanced search features are not as friendly as they were before.

This might make for an excellent Coin Show episode.

    Definitely, mine too!

Oh, I didn't know Bill sold. I don't know about how he runs a business, I just know he was a good guy for the hobby. I met him once somewhere, can't remember where, lol. I know he worked a lot with Wayne Sayles, and both were helpful to our hobby.

I don't begrudge the new owner trying to make some more money, but I just find the format extremely dated, as well as the errors people are seeing. I admit I have not bought there a lot, mainly from a couple of dealers who are friends, and find most prices, even before the recent runup, somewhat high.

It feels kinda like when you move to a new house and the only thing in your bedroom is a bed and some furniture, but with nothing on the walls and no curtains on the window.

And well, the site just took a major step forward and reverted back to the previous version as of this morning.
