Hi All, here are my latest pick ups. Yes I know they aren't Icelandic but I just had to have them. The toning on the Antilles is outstanding. I did the best I could with this photo, I just cant get a good shot of it. Take my word on it, it really is a beauty. I'm a big fan of birds of prey so when I saw the reverse of this Isle of Man coin I couldn't get it soon enough! I'm going to try to track down a sliver proof of that one. Shame on you Mark for buying non-Icelandic coins...LOL. They are super looking coins. The Nederlandse Antillen looks really super,,,I bet it's amazing in hand and that Isle of Man don't look to shabby either......:thumb::thumb: Nice score on both of them,,Congrad's my friend.
LOL, Thanks My Friend! I'll bring it with me on our next outing so you can see it in hand. I'm still looking for those kingdom coins but SOMEBODY, (I won't drop any names here, Iceman), has been a little quicker on the draw LOL! Thanks for the comment!
Nice coins Mark, especially the Antilles. I'd like to see it in hand and check out the toning. I always have trouble with taking pics of toned coins also. Bruce
Thanks Bruce, I'll bring it with me the next time we meet up, I also have some older english copper for you. It is SO hard to take a good photo of toning. This coin is light blue over all with a little pink and red here and there. I think it may be my favorite toner of all the ones that I have. It was a GREAT price too, actually they were both Very reasonable. I picked them up from New World Coin and Stamp company. This is the company I had mentioned a week or so ago. Thanks Again Bruce!
