Agreed Chris, this guy must be retarded. I keep checking back at this thread to see the next stupid post by him. This thread is so UNIQUE... And why do you keep comparing your coin to a Morgan? Please..
Ok there were 6.5 billion, sorry I don't memorize mintages of extremely common circulated zincolns....and 6.5 bil is still a lot.... Just give up already
Redwin, I just got an idea. Why don't you consign this coin to the next major auction? If it's worth 10+ Million dollars, you will have no problem getting that at a reputable firm like Heritage or Stacks. Better yet, save it for next summer when you can consign it to the Stack World's Fair of Money ANA auction. It being such a rare coin I'm sure they would LOVE to include it in their rarities night. If it's truly worth the 10 million, there's bound to be somewhere there willing to pay. Prove it to us all that it's truly worth so much money.
What makes you THINK 1995 is a KEY DATE? Because there was a doubled die? If thats the case then 1972 is a key date. So is 1964. 1965. 1966. 1967. 1968. 1969. 1970. 1971 (Lots of key there!) 1973. 1974. And on and on ad nauseum. (Look it up! ) I think YOU need to figure out what a Lemon is before you go spouting off about comparing Apples to Banana's (Isn't is supposed to be Apples to Oranges anyway?) Whatever. Wow! Congrats! You've got a once in 2 lifetimes coin there Edwin. Enjoy it since I have no doubts you'll be touting the uniqueness of this typical double denomination coin to your death bed. Maybe your heirs will grow a brain and realize that daddy really was full of his own baloney. Say, you wouldn't by chance have a Penache laying around would ya? BTW, at least an Eliasberg is actually worth something. Actually, where do you get off telling me I'm comparing Apples to Banana's since you are doing exactly that by comparing a Morgan Dollar (nonerror) to a Lincoln Cent error coin?
I am working on that for the meantime I am still waiting for my serious buyer from ebay He still trying to negotiates his bid on this coin..Anyway eBay peoples who is watching my lots knows better all the bid it was offered on this coin to my lot... Thank you.
He's right you know, it was only 6,411,440,000. (6 billion) As for uniqueness, each error coin is unique in its own right. This one's UNIQUE: There's not another one in existence thats exactly like this one! However, there are hundreds of thousands of other "incomplete planchet" coins out there in the market just like there are hundreds of other dual denomination coins out there that are only worth between &640 and possibly $5,000. To imply otherwise is pure uneducated lunacy sprinkled with dillusions of grandeur.
I agree since he only started it in a half-arsed attempt at promoting his coin. It's probably the only error or coin he owns and by golly everybody in the World NEEDS to know this just to fuel his desire for recognition.
Wrong! Here's some of my error with a photograph and also NGC slabbed a 1966 Cameo Double Profile..and many more on my safe vaults. The 1995 P Penny on Dime has been over ten years on his websites, pennyondime dot come, un renewed due to under negotiation of buying this coin including the Domaine name of a websites...That I might agreed if my buyer came up to my asking price... Ps, If it is Boring and I just wondered why you still keep coming back on these thread....:smile again, What ajealousy days I have.. Hurricane Irene is Now on my Area, Baltimore, Maryland... Powered outages might come...
Not the best, but I like showing this to people who don't collect errors and see their facial expression when they do a double take. Let's see some errors that aren't a double denomination cent on dime.
Someone please close this thread so ribbit doesn't miss any more of his remedial English classes! Chris
