Roll-searchers, post your results!

This is one of the best runs I've ever had with boxes. Two more arriving tomorrow, then probably 2 this weekend, and four or five next week, hope it keeps up.

Yeah man, from your reports you must be very pleased with what's going on. I wish we had people dumping silver halves into the Penny Arcades around my parts. Do you feel that is how the silver is getting into your boxes? You got to strike while the iron (silver) is HOT.

I saw a '68 in the bag on Tuesday, nothing doing, wouldn't let me have it or even trade.

 

That just kills me, to see it there, wanting to be saved and nothing we can do. I like how Merc attempted to bribe the manager. That must have been tempting.

You better believe it. I think the silver comes from everywhere but mostly Penny Arcades, they get probably 75% of the change cashed in around here.

Ebay it if you're having such issues.

Found 4 40%'s in $70 customer wrapped halves. Also picked up 2 more IKES.

 

I'm BACK!!!!

I've been on vacation and various other endeavors for a couple of weeks and haven't searched at all. Yes, I had withdrawls. All was not lost though. On my travels, my brother gave me a 1935 Walker and a 1958 Quarter, and my step mom gave me a 1984 1/4 oz Gold coin from Canada (.9999 fine).

Yesterday, I picked up my first two boxes in over 2 weeks.
Box 1: 1 40%er
Box 2: skunk


I'm not going to catch up all of the posts I missed, but if I missed a big find, please PM me and I'll look for that post. Good luck everyone.

Searched a box of Halves and a box of Nickels.

Halves - 2 x 40%ers (Sadly, matches my highest total of silver coins in a box in about 2.5 months)
Nickels - Skunked...3 from 1939, a bunch from the 40's and 50's, but nothing notable.

 

Forgot to mention I did get my first 2009P and 2009D nickels.

 

Dimes; skunk.
Nickels; 1 '43-P.
