I would believe it is real, but not really worth much. It would be neat to have if you want to add an ancient coin to your collection.
The Washington dollar is only worth a couple of bucks, but you never know, they could pick up in popularity.

There are several threads on these "unseached" rolls of Wheats. If you are trying to fill in some dates in a new folder, it wouldn't be too bad, but each coin you get in that roll will likely not be worth more then $.10, which would put that roll being worth about $5. So, $8.65 with free shipping isn't the worst price for it. Just be careful and don't expect anything too valuable.
i buy rolls of wheats every once in a while but i would opt out of this one. its not to bad on price but i usually go for rolls that have older wraps. makes me feel like that they havent been searched through recently. im sure they have been searched some what recently since they were recently rolled. i met a man at a fleamarket and he said he has rolls and rolls of wheats he just didnt bring them in today. he says hes bringing them next week and there 2.50 a pop. i plan on geting a couple few and ill post a couple up for sale when i get them.
The roman coin is a minor error being that the reverse is slightly off center, but since these coins were struck by hand this is not that unusual. It is also heavily corroded and is probably worth about what it sold for or a little less. Small roman coins in the five to ten dollar range are fairly easy to come by. The dollar error is as mentions on the holder itself a MINOR misaligned die and if you search through some rolls of dollar coins you can probably some yourself. it is not worth what it cost to have it slabbed. On the other hand I need an example of this slab variety so for me it is worthwhile. Thanks for pointing it out. On the unsearched wheat cents DEFINITELY NO! Your chances of finding a key date in these rolls is better than winning the lottery, but probably not by a whole lot.
