Got this @ 7-11

Was given this as part of my change this morning This is my first Indian Head! What grade do ya think it could be?

Nice coin to get in change! From the photo I can't really tell if there's enough detail in the diamonds to make it to EF, but it certainly seems like a VF at least.

 

Lol thanks y'all! I have noooo clue what this is worth to be honest. I am brand new at collecting coins, well actually it's become an obsession really.

 

Nice IHC! I'd give it A VF. Diamond pattern on looks pretty worn to me.

I'm impressed in two ways. First, I worked in retail for over eleven years, and NEVER found an IHC in the till; and second, I didn't realize that there were still 7-11s around anymore!

 

Really? There is one on every corner here. My slurpee fix is always just a minute away.

The 7-11 clerk probably thought it was Canadian...and glad to be rid of it. Although...Canadian money is worth more than US money these days.

Well it's hard to tell from the photos, but based on the detailing I can see in the feathers, it's probably a full liberty too. Very nice coin. Great find!

 

Probably a very dumb question......but.... What is a full liberty and how can I tell?
