This one i paid almost $5. And was wondering did i do a good buy? If i over paid in the like it might me worth money. Thanks.:yes:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?VISuperSize&item=150641964534 the ebay pic.
Ehhh, not the greatest deal..... Not worth much more than a couple of dollars. At least it was a small purchase that you learned from.
It is better to ask before you buy rather than after you buy. Oh, and I think you overpaid by a good bit.
Awful purchase. You clearly know nothing about what you are buying. Before you overpay for more junk, why don't you ask for advice here, BEFORE buying the coin.
Whoever wrote that did overreact and was very rude. You should watch over your son when hes on eBay. That would protect him from wasting his own money. But then again, I don't think you are actually this kid's father unless bad grammar and spelling runs in the family.
Well, jerseycat was just replying to the OP's question; he wasn't being mean, but he was being honest. There are many overpriced coins on the 'bay, but there's also some good deals to be found. Best to post the question first, get some experienced opinions, and go from there. The one thing we don't want to do is discourage a YN...
my Dad was sitting right here and told me to say that. he said "You clearly know nothing about what you are buying." And oh well i spent $5. Ill make more. We learn from mistakes.
Moral of the story, it was a $3 loss! Many other people lose hundreds if not thousands of dollars from eBay. Just look at the guy that bought fake ANACS slabbed coins. There also is money to be made. It happens to all of us. Take it as a cheap learning lesson. Make sure next time you ask an experienced collector before you buy. GL!
Your dad sits next to you on this forum but not when you're buying on eBay? This is a prime example as to why eBay should require a credit card to create a user account. Makes us all wonder how many other minors we may be dealing with on eBay.
Nope. I didn't need either one. At any rate, the OP should cancel the transaction immediately. He has the best excuse for it. He can not legally enter into a sales transaction because he's a minor. Unless the seller can prove the buyer is legally emancipated, he has to take the return.
