I saw one was an 1897 I was on my phone while looking at them and seems like it's a rare one? Do they all have mint marks on them? I see carson citymwas rare. For 40 dollars I can get 20. There was also American silver eagle coins uncirculated ones those go for 40 a piece? Price of silver for an ounce. There were circulated ones too, how much would you pay for those? Sorry don't know alot about coins they have my interest and I'd like to start collecting. Thank you
From an antique store idk if the guy is dumb or playin me. How do you know if they're not counterfeit?
If you own an antique shop, I would think that you'd know that Morgans are worth more than twice face value
Do you mean the morgans are $40 each? Because if they're $2 each, then yeah, something is likely wrong, especially if the prices are where they should be on ASEs. Also, I doubt the ASEs are circulated. They may have some handling wear if they were handled improperly, but there's no way they're circulated.
Any workman worth his salt has good tools that he uses to accomplish his tasks, likewise any good collector needs some tools, a scale and a loupe I think are basic tools of the hobby.
