Yeah what Merc said daship. Maybe bring a few junk Ikes with you to dump in there with your regular dump in case they try to say they aren't yours, I'm not sure if that would help, **** you might lose some Ikes that way...haha. Either way, just insist they are yours, get a manager involved if you must, after all the bank isn't really claiming them, so why not you.

Did 2 boxes of Dimes, one skunk, the other '64 & '57 Rosies.

I might open an account at a PNC here in Illinois too. It seems like they keep popping up. I have to go check it if they could be dump locations.

So my girlfriends dad just came up to me and asked how much these coins were worth. I was like, "oh here we go again." he asked about circulated presidential dollars before and a bunch of other worthless coins lol so I figured it was another of the same...

Walks up with $70+ melt value of kennedy halves. I almost considered punching, grabbing, and running haha, but he did give me a '57 washington quarter the other day lol so i can't be too sad about it...and a .999% Irish silver medal. But those halves looked soo good :D

    You're not kidding - great box. I scored 1 loose 40 today...

I have a few hundred IKEs that I've accumulated - wish I hadn't returned so many a while back. Is it really worth sorting through them for the different Types? Once before I seperated the '72 and '76 from the rest and let them sit without ever looking

Great score, Mr. Lincolncent! I have had one **** of a dry streak lately, but I am hoping that ends next week. I get paid, and my wife just opened up a new bank account at the WF next to our house. (The one where the teller SNATCHED! The halves she had just handed me out of my hand to check the dates / looking for silver.) Needless to say they will be my dump bank. Might even toss in a few newer Canadian and Bermuda coins to make them think that they "hit silver."

P.s. Check out my spiffy new avatar! Took me ages to figure out how to load it up as my avatar. The album system on this website is not what I am used to =P. That is my lone Frankie that I own. Working on getting a better pic of my lone Liberty Walking!

Made a couple stops today... $60 in cwr's and loose halves = one 40%. 6 rolls of quarters... nothing.

$500 in dimes and $150 in halves I found 3 rosies. I also went to dump $540 in halves and I filled the coin counter up so one of the tellers came over and emptied it(she was very nice and courteous) then when I went up to a different teller all she said was "you about done with this?" to which I replied "with what?" and she said "all the coins". I didnt really know how to respond so I just said "well I get a lot of coins" she just kind of looked at me and said oh. I thought she was fairly rude for a teller talking to a customer, Granted I am in that bank dumping everyother day but still all the teller has to do is look at the slip the machine prints out and hand me bills it's not like I'm handing them 40+ lbs of coins that they have to haul around, that is why I dump at that bank. She is the only teller at that bank that has said or gave any kind of rude look, the rest are very nice always saying hello etc. Has anyone else experienced this? Do you think I should lay low for a while or just keep doing what I'm doing? I don't want to be a pain(didn't think I was at all) and I really don't want them to change any policies about dumping.BM

When a teller is being rude like that it's just their way of telling you that they want you to dump more, so go out buy a box of pennies and just dump it for fun. :p

    HAHA! What he said.

2 boxes of dimes, first yielded 2 silver, second yielded none... that's PA TD for ya.

2 boxes of nickels, first one opened yielded a nice, F+ '37-D and a '44-P war Nick, second is unopened and awaits me tomorrow night.

So, I went to California, form Arizona for vacation before college. I had a few days of doing nothing so I decided to poke around in the cities around me. Seems like A LOT of people do rolls here. One day, I went to a wells fargo and asked for halves. the teller told me that someone just deposited $130 dollars of halves and I thought to myself, "ugh searched"... But I took them out anyways. I got to my car and pulled a random roll out as usual. EVERY COIN WAS SILVER. I locked my doors... just to be safe, you'll never know who's watching, I pull out another roll, ALL SILVER TOO! EVERY ROLL, ALL 13 silver JFKs!!!!! :D:D:DD:D:D::D:D biggest find in my life. Only been doing this for a few months! I can now pay for college! sort of.

SWEET! Great finds! Still looking for that mega score myself, but I love to see others having good luck. Eventually, we all will stumble upon it! Good luck with College!

Nothing at all to keep out of 3 boxes of halves this week. I haven't had time to search others. I need to get back into doing small road trips around the area, but have had Chiropractic appointments 3 times a week for 3 months :/ Takes up a lot of my after-work search time.

On the plus side I did find a war nickel last week which was fun, also filled a hole in one of my nickel books. I hope to complete the whole jefferson nickel set from circulation, I think it's one of the few sets where that is possible. I do have an almost full business strike JFK (need 1970d), proofs will take a long time. Hope to complete the franklin set someday :)
