There is a guy in Florida paying $1.50 per IKE. I am not sure if he is interested in long distance deals but he may be... He offered me $600 for 400 I had for sale.

I'd sell the Ikes in a heartbeat. Of course I've already stated my fondness for the Mercs. Plus...there is silver in them. I'll keep plugging away Merc. I'm due for a good score soon. Been pretty slim pickens lately!

Picked up my first ever box of Halves yesterday and the teller told me he had to order $1000 (2 boxes) so if I wanted another one it was there for me. I did not have the cash on me for both boxes so I told him I'd be back later in the week. I roll out to my car and tear open the first 7 rolls and find 3 x 40% and my first Frankie 1954. I'm about having a heart attack and speed off to another bank to get more cash to buy the other box. Guess what I found in the next 93 rolls.....wait for it, wait for it....SKUNK. Out of 100 rolls the first 7 I pick have all of the silver. Weird.

    Box 1 - 3 x 40% (1965, 2 x 1968)
    1 x 90% (1954 Frankie)

    Box 2 - SKUNK

Now to dump $998 in halves. Going to try the plastic coin bag from BoA at the branch where they told me no fee.

What bank is it? Don't need specific location just the name. I'd go for it!

I searched through $300 in customer and bank-wrapped rolls of quarters to find just one Canadian.

What's even more interesting is that I managed to find 20 rolls of Grand Canyon quarters. I obviously don't want to open them up, so would it be worthwhile to try and sell them on eBay or some other venue or should I cash most of them in and keep maybe one for myself?

    I also bought $10 in halves and found a 1969-D and a 2007-P.

At the moment, the only option is "Buy it Now," with prices ranging from $15 to $20 per roll.

I've seen this complained about a couple of times........I don't understand it. If you don't want to read the whole thing (I haven't), you just hit "Last" and it takes you to the end and you could read a couple of pages and start posting.

Am I missing something? I don't see a need to start a new thread.

Yeah that's what I figured, I thought that I heard before about different sized boxes. Thank God she told me it was $200 though...I only had $100 to spend so I would have been screwed haha.

hahahaha that was a good one

Went and got a box of dimes today while I dropped off a huge bag of halves to be sent out and counted/credited to my account. Until my account gets credited I only have a couple hundred to keep rolling over so I'll do dimes because the coin machine here in town does not take halves.

Couple things I wanted to throw out there re: my half boxes....
the second box (skunk) had several marked coins with different marks...the date, black sharpie, red sharpie, marks on the edges
The first box had lots of NIFC...prob a couple hundred real nice looking coins, I'll keep one or two but not a couple hundred
First box also had 1972 BU coins, for being 40 years old they look great

While dumping some pennies and nickels yesterday the teller asked if I wanted some $2 bills. Turns out two of them were from 1953 and one was a star note. Then she tells me that she also has an $5 bill. Turns out its a 1934 note. Picked them all up. Thanks to good tellers who just dont care about things.

$14 in Customer Nickels - 2 War nickels.

Also, I've been keeping any 1938-1959 nickels I find - I was thinking about selling these in rolls on ebay, or on here if anyone's interested. What do you guys think they'd sell for, if for more than $2?

    2 boxes of halves today

    Box 1 - skunk
Box 2 - 49 rolls had nothing, 1 roll had 3 40s. Always interesting when it happens that way and sometimes it does.

Cleaned out all the banks locally, as I said I would, tornado warning and all, heh.

$1500 in halves, mix of loose, CWR and Bank rolls yielded only 4 40%ers, in machine rolls. They came out of two rolls, both had enders and both had another inside the roll. Weird.

Even weirder, I got two boxes of nickels. Found a fantastic '43-P war nick on the end of a roll, busted it open, and found another war nick in the roll. Only two war nicks of the day. The only find that wasn't in a roll with two keepers was a dateless (I think it looks like a '28) Buff, D-mintmark.
