2003-P Lincoln Cent - Smooshed Rim w/ Transferred Lettering (PMD)?

    What is this? Sry the obv appears blurry near the error/dmg'd area - that's the best it would scan (it does not appear blurry in any way in person). The black spots you see on the pinched part of the rim on the obv of the coin are actually tiny holes in the coin (there are three small holes). On the black it looks like the rim contains transfered letters, like the 'TATES' from 'STATES' or something. It's very weird. It's not marker or anything. I'm assuming PMD, but just thought it was odd ;) 2003 printed rim.JPG 2003 rim.JPG
