How'd I do?

I recently purchased a 2 cent piece from a dealer in Vallejo he didnt know much about it he didnt even know he had any in stock but i took a chance and bought one!
What manly i want to know is what is it worth and what grade? the dealer didnt know anything and the sleave just said 2 cent piece 1865 so heres the coin tell me what you think! :smile

Much clearer pictures are needed. Also, we can't tell you how you did, unless you tell us what you paid! I would pay $20-$23 based on those images. The color looks like it has been cleaned.

 

Can't tell much from those fuzzy photos but it certainly looks harshly cleaned to me.

You paid a fair price... a little on the high side for the coin being harshly cleaned... but in the ballpark. As long as you are happy with it...

My very first coin ever was an 1865 2 cent piece that had been lightly cleaned.
