1988 penny error?

There is some type of bump by the rim of the right side of the 1988 penny on the front. I used another coin and put it between the rim and the "bump" and moved the coin to the left and It stopped when it hit the "bump". I don't think it's wear and tear because it's shiny but I'm not sure. Does anyone know why there is a bump and does it have any value? Thanks!

Double die?

There might be doubling where his mouth and nose is (1st pic). Then, on the date made (1988), there may be Double Die. Sorry for bad pics. Is it double die?

 

I think I have another penny like this, so I'm not sure if it's an error.

On the first picture of the nickel, something seems to be up with it.

That's machine doubling on the obverse. Your video requires a plug-in and I'm lazy. The bump is probably nothing, maybe just as a result of die unevenness or deterioration. I've found similar cents, tossed 'em back... hundreds, actually.

 

All of these just look like signs of DIE DETERIORATION. Sorry to say, coins with these characteristics present command no premium. ... Better luck next time! Keep searching for those MAJOR ERRORS and DIE VARITIES!
