    I actually spent a 70's proof nickel a few years ago. I think I got it as part of a collection, it was already removed from the packaging, so I put it to good use in a parking meter :D

    This dollar probably was your grandfather's pocket piece! Just an idea. I've never seen such a smooth Morgan!

    I love coins from 1876 and 1976. Here is one that I am quite fond of.

    This one not only saw some circulation, but it was also chop marked on the obverse.

    This one has some sort of strange planchet defect. Too bad because the coin is in pretty good shape otherwise.

    Here 1854-O Seat dime
    The plug fell out.New Orleans mint is well known for the odd strikes,due many thing they were known as the Red-hair stepchild US mint system.
