That reverse is gorgeous. I just wish it had an obverse like yours to go with it.

Abe, I would love to photograph that one. Send it to me and it's on the house. I'll even mail it back at no cost. PM me.
    Lance.

    P.S. Here's a reference picture.

Cool additions RLM. The 1936-D is more my taste than the other 2 , but that 1940 OBV is very cool !

The 36-D is definitely the better of them

Nice additions RLM!!!! Especially loving the 36-D and the 1940. I have a weakness for redwood.

You have a good candidate coin for VC in the 26. Put one drop over the residue on the obverse, let it sit for 5 minutes, work it a little with a tooth pick, dab it off and let dry 24 hours.

    It is already drying.

Here is the coin after treatment along with the spot before and after treatment with Verdi-Care. As you can see, the verdigris is gone. However, the coin has been stained by the verdigris and that remains.

Thanks for the pics! It looks a lot better now and you don't have to worry about the verdigris eating away at that spot anymore. This is a text book use of VC.

Yep! That is one date that is almost hard to find without some kind of wood effect.

    Nice one.
