2010 ATB 5 oz Yosemite P error(?)

I recently received the ATB Yosemite P 5 oz from the mint and noticed what appears to be an jagged apostrophe between the letters E & D in united(UNITE'D). Can anyone tell me if this is an error, die break or whatever. Wish I had pictures to post but don't. The apostrophe is not on the protective lense but appears to be a gouge or raised metal on the coin. I would appreciate any information you care to share....Thanks

We really will have to have good photos to be able to help you.

We need better information to be able to help you. If it is a gouge it could be a strike-through or damage. If it is raised it could be a die crack.

 

Thanks for your response Hobo. I'll attempt to figure out how to take photo's of the coin on my cell phone and forward them to this site. I'm not very computer literate so this may take awhile(say 2-3 years). I'll get the photo's one way or another by this weekend. Tom

Another thought is to take pictures of the coin on my cell phone and send them directly to you. I'm not trying to circumvent the coin talk process but it occurs to me this may be an option that I can figure out. Tom
