I agree. NO way it would make a 64. Would have a hard time making 63. The one light makes it look better than it really is. Granted its still a beautiful RB, its not a 64.
My latest raw coin purchase from eBay Picked up this 1910-S on eBay for a bargain. Except for the carbon spot on the rev , this coin is awesome !
This arrived from Rick Snow yesterday, along with two others from Heritage. It's a little dark but the luster is there and the colors are a bit better than my images show. Lance.
That's a great price. As a type coin, the $2.5 and $5 Indian gold is a lot rarer than the $10 Liberty & Indian and $20 Liberty & St Gaudens gold.
I dunno if it's spectacular or not, but that's a great looking coin. I've been shopping for a nice looking, yet affordable $5 Indian, & it's turned into a "quest". Here's a 1943 WL half I bought on fee-bay. I paid about the MS60 price, & disregarded the MS66 grade by NNC when I bought it. Now that I have the coin, I'm not so sure that it's not an MS66. Any thoughts?
Thanks for them sharing with US!!! I like this one so I photo shop it so we could see it better.Woody I hope you don't min? It look to be great for a Type set a Walker Woody Nice 43:thumb:
Thanks for all the responses. And I really like jello's photoshopping job--I need to learn how to do that & improve my pics. The 1915-D barber Half--it looks like a "perfect coin for the grade". It might even have more charm by being slightly circulated.....you think more about the history maybe.....
I doubt that either of these Walkers will even come close to MS66, but I like them. And the price was right-- $10 for the '36, $12 for the '43:
