Saturday was a great day with Merlin1066 and his wife and little girl, with my cousin and her boy. We all went on a fossil hunt here in New Jersey looking for 70 million year of shark teeth and other interesting fossils that can be found in the Brooks of monmouth county NJ. Everyone one went home with some cool stuff,,,,From shark and ray teeth and even a ratfish mandible jaw section and we even found some fossilized shark poop.... And Merlin's little girl even found a great little
Ray vertbra,,,which is very hard to find,,,,:thumb::thumb::thumb:

And to top it all off ,,,,I came home with a 1937 penny in XF-AU condition when I stopped at a store on the way to the fossil site,,,,You can't get any better then that........Good Freinds,,Coins and Lots of Fossils.

Tony, we can't thank you enough for our fossil hunt. It was just an all around banner day. Most importantly to me personally was a chance to finally meet you. After talking to you here on CT, computer chat, and a few phone calls, I thought there was a real friendship growing. After having the pleasure of spending a whole day with you there is no doubt, I have made a great friend in you Tony. You were just so wonderful with my daughter and her friend, you felt like family to Melissa and me. To top all of it off we found fossils!!!. This has been a huge interest of mine since I was very young. My wife has also always been a "rock hound" ever since she met me. We found quite a few sharks teeth, sabertooth salmon teeth, ray teeth and a ray vertebrae. Not to mention, countless other specimens. We had a BLAST!, and can't wait to do it again! I would post photos but Melissa took everything to work to show her boss, LOL. I'll have the photos here on Wed. Thanks Again Tony!, we are looking forward to the next trip!
