Hello, after spending about a week looking for my answer i decided to post here. so here is my question; I have a stack of 100 $50 with serial numbers ######000 to ######099 and a stack of $100 with serial numbers from ######000 to ######099 from 1993 they are crisp and brand new like they just came off the press. i am not sure if i should just trade them in for new money or put them into circulation and buy stuff or are they actually worth something to collectors? If you need more details to give me an idea of what its worth I'll provide the info.
If you have numbers 00 and such, I would definitely keep 'em, but I would like to see some pics, as well.
Don't Don't take back unusual items such as this to get other money from the bank at face value. There are all kinds of people, looking for all kinds of things on internet auction sites. If you start the bidding out high enough to cover selling fees/shipping fees there is a good chance you'll get a premium on the sale of the notes. If they don't sell, you haven't lost anything since most auction sites no longer charge to list an item with one picture (UBid allows 4 free pictires). Nothing vetured, nothing gained.
