How many rolls did you have to search to get 9 silvers?

I searched through $250 in dimes today ($100 in Fed-wrapped and $150 in CWR) and found five Canadians along with two silver Roosevelts, a 1952 and a 1957.

I was so excited about finding a 1957 dime in my pocket change yesterday that while at the bank making a deposit today I brought home 4 rolls of dimes. Lot's of 1965 and 1966s, and a few later 60s, but no silver.

I am going to keep a Panamanian Balboa I found (which I believe is worth $0.25 US), but other than that, nada.

Dang it, I just lost my best bank to purchase halves. The whole chain said no more ordering coin for customers. I have a place that will order a large amount of halves, but they want $7.50 per box. Do you guys think it's worth it?

I had Wells Fargo order me 2 boxes of Halves a few weeks back when my bank I get halves from forgot my order. They said they'd charge me $7.50 a box. When I picked up the boxes...they didn't say anything about it and it was never taken out of my account. Good thing as they were both skunks! It's up to you. You may want to try a box or two and see how it goes.

Not yet Gypsy - The closest I've gotten is a 3 quarters, a 40% half, and 2 dimes (all silvers) in the reject tray at TD Bank.

    Tough week on the halves...

    2 boxes of halves tonigt - 1 x 1964 Kennedy
    2 boxes of dimes - 3 x Silver Rosies

Also - forgot to mention, grabbed another silver dime out of the TD Bank reject tray on Wednesday. Trying some new areas in the morning west of here.

2 boxes halves, almost missed the lone 40%er, it was BU as heck and looked copper... and I'm intoxicated. Was an ender to boot.

Do you have any local companies that have gumball, crazy balls, even soft drinks vending machines in moms and pops laces that you could contact about buying their machine coins. They usually have to wrap and ID coins or pay a % to the bank when deposited in bulk for counting and rolling. Maybe you could buy them bulk. Mainly nickels, dimes, and quarters now. I once had a close friend whose family ran 100 snack machines, lots of coins each week.

Well I think that is it. If any of you can recall I last posted that my last 32 boxes of halves were SKUNK and 2 boxes of dimes Skunk for a total of 34 Skunk boxes. Well I made my order of 8 boxes this week for the fist time in 2 weeks as I took off during the week of the 4th as the holiday landed on a Monday and that is order day for me. 8 more boxes of Skunks to add to the past 34 for a total of 42 in all so it is official no Silver. I have to admit I think Brinks is removing silver how else can this be explained? I don't know but one less guy to compete with for silver.

Quite frankly, Brinks SUCKS. They are my dump bank and ALL my dumps go through banks that work with them. Start buying Loomis or Garda boxes and dump at Brinks.

Brinks definitely doesn't filter silver. My guess is you live somewhere with a few big searchers and you're getting their rejects because of the bank you're using.
