i just payed 15 dollars for both of these coins or 7.50 each. i was wondering what they were worth,if i got a good deal, and how u guys would grade them the 1849 1 is a little bent but not to bad. i was also wondering if anyone could tell me what variety the 1803 coin is thanks

The 1803 by itself is easily worth more than you paid for the two coins combined. Being bent has robbed the 1849 of most of its value, but even then I'd value it in the $7-$10 range at a guess. You did just fine.

If I read my attributions right, this is a Small Date/Small Fraction variety, probably Sheldon-247, which is R.3 -- a little scarce, but not enough to bring a premium most likely. I'm more than happy to defer to someone who knows than I do (Marshall) about this. :)
