If you will be attending the ANA World's Fair of Money, you'll want to be sure to drop by the NGC booth to see this set.

NGC to Display Top Morgan Dollar Collection at the 2011 ANA World's Fair[TABLE="class: newsArticleTable, width: 500"]

Phenomenal coins from the M L Moser Collection of Morgan Silver Dollars will be on display at NGC's booth during the convention.
Numismatic Guaranty Corporation will host numismatic exhibits at its booth during the 2011 ANA World’s Fair of Money in Chicago. The largest NGC exhibit is the M L Moser Collection of Morgan Silver Dollars, the #1 ranked set of Morgan Silver Dollars in the NGC Registry. A preview of the exhibit can now be seen online in the NGC Registry.
Comprising 105 pieces in all, the ML Moser Collection is complete by date and mint. Each coin is a high-grade example of its issue, and all are certified by NGC with the Moser Pedigree. Mr. Moser, a lifelong collector from the Midwest, believes that one way the challenge of building this set can be understood is to look at figures in the NGC Census. Of the 105 coins, 13 pieces are singularly the finest certified; they are population one with none higher. Looking deeper, 61 coins are either the single finest known or tied with other coins for the highest grade certified. Perhaps this last statistic is most telling: of the 105 coins in the set, 96 coins (91%) are either finest known, tied for finest known, or bettered by only 10 or fewer coins.
Although there are many remarkable coins in the collection, one rarity is the 1879-CC dollar certified NGC MS 65. This variety, with a normal mintmark, is actually more rare than the popular “Capped CC” variety. Another special mention is a San Francisco Mint silver dollar dated 1881-S. Although abundant, this coin is the single finest certified piece, graded MS 68[IMG][IMG].
A couple of the highlights from this important set are also pedigreed to a famous collection of the past. Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr. assembled the only complete set of United States coins ever formed, and his name still commands respect among numismatists. Former Eliasberg coins in the Moser Collection include 1887-S (MS 67) and 1888-O (MS 67), both singularly the finest pieces certified.

Among the highlights of the display will be these coins:
    • 1879-CC Morgan dollar, MS 65 NGC
    • 1880 8/7-CC VAM-5 overdate, MS 67[IMG] NGC
    • 1881-S Morgan dollar, MS 68[IMG][IMG] NGC
    • 1881-CC Morgan dollar, MS 68 NGC
    • 1884-S Morgan dollar, MS 63 NGC
    • 1885-S Morgan dollar, MS 66[IMG] NGC
    • 1892-S Morgan dollar, AU 55 NGC
    • 1893-S Morgan dollar, AU 53 NGC
    • 1895-S Morgan dollar, MS 66 NGC
    • 1896-S Morgan dollar, MS 66 NGC
The following images are a few select examples of the 105 coins that will be displayed.

Fantastic set! What a shame... I'm all the way in California, so I won't be able to admire it in person. :(

Should be interesting. Last time I went to the ANA in Chicago they had the finest possible PCGS Morgan and Peace dollar collections. PCGS had contacted everyone who had the finest known piece and borrowed them to assemble the ultimate dollar collections. I wasn't impressed. I thought they would be better looking. Someone else had their complete set on display at that show as well. they weren't all the top pop pieces, but I liked that set better.

I have noticed the same thing just looking at some of the top pop coins. They maybe 66's or 67's but ugly. I can't remember which set I was looking at that was red - I think IHC's, but got to looking at the pictures and they were ugly. I think they should break copper down - I think a top pop brown set could look better than the top pop red set. The other thing is they need to do is include eye appeal.

PCGS had the Sunnywood Collection of Morgan toners at FUN 2008 (I think). That was one gorgeous set.
