Box of halves, 2 40%ers.

 

Man, today was a pretty lousy bank day for me. In the change machine, in the halves bag, there was a Franklin half, but the teller working it wouldn't let me buy it out of the bag. when i went to the counter to pick up a fresh box of pennies, and for the first time ever, they were fresh out! I haven't been to the bank in over two weeks, so I haven't been overloading them. Oh well, I'll check back Friday after they get a new shipment. Still a bummer, though...

 

Saw a '64 ken in a bag yesterday, it's policy they can't pull 'em outta the bag.

 

Went to bank and asked for half dollars, they said they just had a bag come off. I bought 500 in bank wraped rolls.

I searched 2 boxes of Halves today.

Box 1 - Skunk...but somehow a newer presidential dollar was inserted into one of the rolls....so, I cashed it in for $500.50. So, I actually made $.50.
Box 2 - 1 x 1964 Kennedy, 1 x 1968 Kennedy

Finding the halves boxes are slim pickens lately. I'm hoping for another monster box soon cause month 2 is shaping up kind of weak.

 

Lol, I don't search boxes (can't afford it anyway), but doesn't that mean once you dump the box that you made $500.50? Sounds like a great day to me!

 

So today while turning in my coins I got a 2006 $1 star note and a 1943 silver quarter. I was jumping with joy when I saw the note.

 

So,I searched 16 rolls of cents and came our with:
2 x Wheat Cents , A 1956-D and a 1944-D
2 x AU Cents, a 1960, and a 1963- D
100x copper Cents

 

Went to a few banks today, and found about 4 bucks of halves is all.....however, within them were 2 40%ers.

Then, I went to our coin club meeting and Incarnate won 3 door prizes. 3 in one night!!!!

Actually on that box I did make $.50 since I had to invest the $500 initially. Either way it's not a loss and it is a small gain.

 

Yesterday's box of dimes yielded a 64 & a 37

 

went through 4 boxes of dimes this morning
1st: 3 silver Roosies
2nd: 2 silver Roosies
3rd:. 1962 Proof
4th: skunked

 

I hope they were silver

I plan to take my $7 dollars in pennies home, re roll, throw a few more dollars in , and take em to the bank! I might make a savings account while I am there!

$35 in rolled dimes 1 more silver dime
Found a 1951-D nickel a 2011-P nickel for my album but I still have not found any 2011 dimes
8 silver dimes found today, im happy

 

That book was so heavy, Lincoln needed six fingers to hold it

 

Broke as a joke this week. All day long I am passing bank after bank after bank but with no doe it sucks to be mw right now!!!!!

 

Found my first silver quarter today in a roll! (sorry its sideways lol.)
