This coin/whatever it is, has names of like.. 13 countries names on it. Doesn't seem like a coin but decided to post it here if any of you knew of it. Apparently, it's a medal commerorating the First World War Justin. I've never seen one before, but I like the style of it. Hopefully someone else will chime in who has some history on it. Bruce
Yep... it's a WWI Victory Medal, worth about $20 (or more): http://www.pcgs.com/articles/article1546.chtml
Never thought it was so special. Thinking of the history behind it and such. I don't know why but the ones in photos look gold and mine is like.. brown/copper looking. :?
Yours is in lesser condition than the pictured ones, and the copper has oxidized to make the brown color
Well when my grandmother gave them to me, she said her father had these with him every time he went somewhere so their most likely beatened up..
Very proud to own a very special medal. I know my grandmother's father wasn't in the army so.. I wonder where he got it.. :/ Mystery.
