Why do the cherry-picking tellers have to be so rude about it. Buy the coin and get it out of the tray so we can't see it. They leave it out there for us to see and we want it. I agree with Merc, see what the policy is, and if you are an account holder, that coin should be yours if it's in that tray and you request to purchase it.

    Lunch Break Update
Out of the $100 in dimes I picked up they were a mix of BWR & CWR. I mentioned the CWR had a Roosie, and the last roll I opened a BWR had 2 x Roosie!
Don't we all wish they were all like that.

Made 5 stops today. 2 were skunks. Bank one with something, I got 2 40%'s out of $15 halves from her tray. This branch must not pick. I have pulled silver there a few times now. Bank two, I pulled 1 40% out of a tray but nothing in three rolls. Bank three I picked up 40 more ikes.

I picked up 23 Ikes today. Nothing special. No Type 2's or Silver. I'll figure it all out when I get home. Will be trying to hit a few more banks tomorrow.

I don't quite get the attitude they give you at times. I have to admit I've wrestled with the best way to handle it. After some thought, I figure it's just not worth pushing the issue. You may be able to get a few out of the tellers tray even though they basically rub your nose in it. However, is it really worth it in the grand scheme of things? I have to figure there is a reason why most of them keep them out in the open for us to see...has to be bank policy. It's the only thing that makes sense. Most people would know enough to cash them out immediately, and put them out of sight.

So, if a teller acts a fool...I just feel the best thing is to move on. Give the bank another shot or two. After three strikes...forget about it. Make them a dump bank. Just my thoughts.

while i had a few days off and i was vacationing with my girlfriend i picked up a box of halves.. first one in a long time since i never really found anything to make it worth it.. but i was feeling lucky that the bank even had a box in stock.. so i took it and found 1 90% and 18 40%..

    $100 Dimes BWR

Picked up $100 BWR Dimes today on lunch after cashing in $100 that I hand rolled to turn in (what a PITA). Got lucky and pulled a 1963 Roosie.
Oh....and there were not many 2011's at all. I should have bought the whole box but I have too much tied up in clad I need to roll or dump.

    Taylor,

The last couple weeks it seemed like everywhere I went it was solid 2011 dimes. This week I asked for CWR and got lucky with a couple Roosie. Then yesterday I got 1 Roosie from a CWR and 2 Roosie from a BWR. So the 2011's have slowed down a bunch here this week. I'm very pleased about that along with ending my $750 dimes skunk streak.

Went to the bank and picked up a box of pennies. All appear to be CWR. Turns out one roll stuck out like a sore thumb, it was an old stamped Brandt Sunnyvale Roll from 12/1976. It was a roll filled with 40's and 50's wheats! While there wasn't any key finds, my jaw still dropped to the floor. I'm going back to find more this afternoon. Hope everyone had a nice week.
