1889-CC-Morgan Silver Dollar

    Hey everyone!! I just found an 1889-CC-Morgan Silver Dollar. I was curious what the value may be in its current condition. Do you think it would be a wise idea to use silver cleaner on it to remove the off-color? Here are pics!! Enjoy!! Please reply!!

    Do not clean it!!! Leave it as is, I would say it's in vf condition so that puts around 1500 dollars

    Beware of fakes. Test it with a magnet to see if it is magnetic.

    Checked it, It's NOT magnetic!! I figured it was the real deal anyway since it was in my great grandmaws safe for a LONG time.

    It looks like it has a good chance of being genuine... shame about the rim ding... but other then that it looks like a nice coin.

    Yes sir!! **** of a find : ) I knew it was a Morgan Silver Dollar but when I saw the CC mint mark I knew it was RARE. She told me I could have it : ))

    Looks real to me , never clean a coin , sure is a nice looking coin . That rim damage is the only distraction . You did good .

    What do you guys think it would have been worth without that ding on the side but with all the other stuff? Man that really bites!!

    Without the ding (and possible light cleaning) it's worth $1,200-$1,500.

    I'd think that you could buy a similar coin for $800-$1,000
