Begging your pardon, Eugene, but you've given me an opportunity to post some pics of my first Icelandic pickups.....and it's all Siggis' and Icemans' fault.......
Nice set of coins Green Now you have just 5 more coins go go and you have covered the modern era of Icelandic coins
Very Nice Eugene, Thanks for posting them, thats a nice group you have there! I really like the! Eyrir. I think they are my favorites.
Be careful Green, these coins a very contagious. Before you know it you'll be asking people to help you find a 1930 set. When that happens it will be to late to turn back. Trust me on this.........
They are all awesome, but my favorites are the 1981 5, 10 & 50 Aurar, especially the 5 Aurar. You have a nice collection there.
I only had one Icelandic coin but I "donated" it to Mark for his collection. I even had a name for it...Spot. We have to get him to post her, she's a cute little thing. Come on Mark show everybody Spot!...She deserves some attention. Bruce
Yes Mark,,,,where's Spot,,,,,,,Here girl ,,,,,come on. Mark dont want to share her with us.,,,,Bad Mark..........LOL
Mark?...where are you?...Alright, I'm going over there, he only lives a couple of miles from me. Bruce
Nah, he's just at a 4th o' July Bar-B-Q somewhere. He'll chime in when he see's this. Oh, Mark? You're just as guilty as Siggy and Iceman when it comes to getting me interested in Icelandic coins........
Have no fear my friends I'll find him. I was a truck driver and got paid to find people...I haven't forgotten how. Besides my pretty little Spot needs some lovin'. Bruce
No Ken, I worked for a welding supply company, a couple of general freight outfits, and my last 20 years for Canon delivering Copiers, paper and a bunch of other equipment. Are you ex-UPS? Bruce
