Found another LWC and Im not sure if this is a CUD error or something else, what do you think?? Thanks again to all:hail:
Nope. A cud includes the rim. Think of it this way - the side off the die breaks off and then strikes a coin. The portion of the coin where the die has broken off will be a cud. Because the side of the die broke off that would mean the cud would have to include the rim. What you have is a die chip.
We all have to learn sometime. Just remember that a cud includes the rim. 'Cud' is one of the most misused terms in coin collecting. Collectors with years more experience than you will call a tiny die chip a "cud". ["Double Die" is another frequently-misused term. First, the correct term is "Doubled Die". And a Doubled Die coin is one that has been struck with dies that have been doubled during the die-making process. Tons of collectors call practically any anomaly a "Double Die".]
