    My wife brought this guy home to me. Someone spent it on a pack of cigarettes. What do you guys think?

    I think she got the better end of the deal. She's got one more silver half, and one less pack of cigs, both of which constitute net gains. :)

    LOL She manages a gas station. She paid $0.50 out of the register for it. Any idea how much it might be worth? $4 maybe?

    It's worth $5 based off todays silver price per ounce ($33)

    I am new to collecting and buying/selling silver. Are there alot of people that are buying silver at melt prices?

    The usually sell if they are dealers at face value plus silver value!

    and what if I can buy them from somone under melt price -- at like $10.50 -- if I'm buying $1000 face value?
