I´m just lost for words right now ! Two, Yes Two trial coins. These are 10 Aurar made out of aluminum that were first minted in 1970. The trial is raised and date proves that these are real ! My head hurts i´m smiling so hard right now................... Siggi
That's quite a find Siggi, where did you get them. I can see you smiling from way over here. Congratulations! Bruce
These are extremly rare, Central bank of Iceland owns one of these and no other documented. There was one on stacks about a year ago but that one had a cancelled die cross over it....This is just mind blowing to find...... Secret Bruce And Yes i´m smiling my bud off here typing this !
And I ask again Siggi...you got them where? Have you done something you shouldn't have? Come on spill your guts, you'll feel better. And I promise I won't tell anybody...promise. Bruce
One of the great pleasure of world and ancient coin collecting is finding rarities like this. The US market is so overpicked its hard to find such rarities, but they are around for other ares of collecting for a smart, sharp eyed collector. Congrats man, I know you are enjoying it. Chris
The first rule I have Bruce is I never tell were I get my coins from, I can tell you that they came from a collection and the owner did not know they were there. I called him back and payed him more then the original price was for the collection. Thank you, I am extatic to have found them Yes and no !
Yes and yes Pictures are taken in late sunlight and they bring out the worst in coins, They are none cerculated as far as I can tell Document as in provence ?
Please try and get some sleep tonight. Then again, I'd be pinging and bouncing and spinning off the walls, if it was a super rare coin I was into. Carry on.
I will do my best but i´m sure that It will take some time to relax And i´m always trying to tell the numismatic world about my gems but the interest mostly lies with my friends and fellow collectors here
