I like to pay for things in Kennedies and Ikes, just to annoy cashiers, maybe that makes me a bad person, but it's really quite fun.

I love doing this. Do it at a donut shop with foreign workers or a fast food place with teenagers and they'll not know what to do, lol. What is really fun is to pay with a $2 bill, an Ike, a gold dollar and a Kennedy half and then sit back and watch....

So after the weekend drought, I cashed in today at TD Bank. I checked the reject tray as I started to load and didn't feel anything in the chute...after the bag filled the guy opens the machine and theres a bunch of change in the chute. I pull it out and can hear the clank of Silver. Two Silver Rosies and a Silver Quarter (1935). I can't figure out what is up. There has to be stuck in the machine from the last run. It's the only thing I can figure. I know for sure I didn't have silver in my dumps today.

So I go to Wells Fargo and pick up 2 boxes of dimes.

    Box 1: 1 x Rosie
    Box 2: 4 x Rosie and a 1936 Mercury

So, for the day I got 7 Silver Rosies, a Mercury, and a Quarter. $.95 face in 90% Silver. I'll take it after the weekend I had especially when $.45 was found money!

I am in a Serious drought with the Halves. Need that to turn around this week!

I picked up 10 rolls of nickels today, looked through 3, not too much yet 2 pre 1960s, but I saw a war nickel on the end, an S mint, so I'm saving that for last. :)

Simply amazing ace! I haven't had any luck finding silver in the rejects when I go to cash in. That's pretty awesome! Well tomorrow starts off a new week for me of half-hunting. First box coming tomorrow, also thinking about making a little roadtrip to grab another box...still not sure if I will do this as I may not have the time, and they may not have the box...lol, guess I'll call ahead.

Picked up 10 rolls of dimes(Canadian) yesterday. First 8 rolls had nothing special but then on the 9th roll I found 2 silver dimes. A 1958 and a 1964. I don't have much silver so I was pretty happy with the find.

I've been thinking about trying out searching rolls of nickels for silver...

    Better or worse than dimes?

And a lot more variety, I think anyway with the Jefferson series, WWII, Buffs, some V-Nickels if u are extremely lucky, maybe some Canadian Nickels too that are 99% Nickel????

Well I finally got my lil vending route quarters in today. Cashed them in as I needed the money in my account to cover some bills. Turns out 1 - 1964 Silver Quarter got bounced out of the tray at TD bank (pretty sure it was mine since she opened the maching up when she saw me coming in to dump) along with a 1964 Rosie Dime.

Also, hit a bank nearby at lunch and grabbed $4.00 in loose halves. 1 x 1967 Kennedy! Finally the skunk streak is broken!!!

Not a bad lunch....1 silver dime, quarter, and 40% half. Also, got two more dime boxes to search tonight!!!

    $100 Dimes CWR

The CWR dimes keep on piling on the skunks. The banks around me are a joke. I stop in to the first one and they do not have a box of dimes and don't even get BWR, they rely on what customers bring in. So I stroll across the street and they too do not have a box, so I have to settle for $100 dimes CWR. Ughh, that's like $500 straight CWR skunk. BWR are so much better for me around here. I might hold off until I can get a box from someone, who am I kidding, I'll prob take whatever the next bank has so I can search something.
