Yesterday I searched a box of Quarters (Skunk) and a box of dimes (1 x 1961 Rosie).

So, I searched almost $2300 in Halves, Quarters, and Dimes over the weekend and got 1 lonely dime.

This half streak has to end soon!

    Sat morning

Took $100 in grocery money (still had not dumped my $500 in clad yet) and went by a local BoA and got $100 in BWR dimes.
Pulled two silver Roosies to start the day, a 52' and a 64' in nice shape.
Sweet I thought this is going to be a good day

I then took off to hit 2 TD banks (penny arcade) the closest to me is 21 miles then another 8 miles down the road is another .
First I dumped $400 in clad because I had my baby daughter with me and could carry no more. I now have cash and my grocery money back so I can buy up some more dimes before I get to the next TD. Not so fast, Citizen bank denied me, WF said only if I had an account. Before you know it I'm at the next TD. Oh well, dumped my other $200 in clad and I'm set to get a couple boxes this week.

The only other place that would not sell me coin was a supermarket bank. Maybe because it was Saturday and most places say they can't open the vault to get more coin? Typically any place I go to during the week sells me boxes with no questions asked.

Has anyone else been getting a BUNCH of 2011 Dimes? I have picked up 6 boxes in a row, all 2011P Dimes. Were there this many 2010 dimes that were released last year?

That is SOOOOO strange that they will not limit him, but instead will shut everybody down. I don't understand that. I hope it doesn't come to that.....

Are you saying you have 32 skunk boxes in a row? If so, that is unbelievable. Wow. How discouraging....

A "box" is 50 rolls of a denomination in an actual box that you can order from your bank.
    cents: $25
    Nics: $100
    Dimes: $250
    Q & Halves: $500

    WEEKEND REPORT

box of dimes: All 2011 D
    Box of halves: 1 40%er
2nd Box of halves: 1 40%er and 1 SBA dollar
    $40 of CWR: Skunk

All of a sudden, I have hit silver in 9 out of my last 10 boxes....quite a turn around from all of the skunks I was having. Mind you, they haven't been big finds, but I HATE skunks, so it has been a welcome change. Here are the numbers for the last 10: 2, 1, 1, 5, 5, 3, 0, 5, 1, 1. So, the average is pretty low (2.4 per), but at least it is something. Only 3 of the 24 have been 90%ers. Prior to this run, I had only found 1 40%er in my previous 8 boxes (7 skunks, obviously), so it is a nice change.

    $100 dimes

Went to my BoA where the last two boxes of dimes have been skunk. Head teller is on vacation so they could only sell me $100 in BWR dimes. It's better than nothing so I took those and the teller hooked me up with a brand new canvas bag to carry them out in. 6th roll produced a slightly tarnished 1947 Roosie. Now I have a nice bag to bring all my dumps into TD with!

Love those canvas bags; I don't know what I would do without it.

    Nice pickup!

Got my first reject tray find, a '62D dime. I was happy, I wasn't sure that the machines at TCF bank reject silver (frankly, I'm still not convinced that it wasn't just a fluke, there was another clad dime in there too). But regardless, I was happy.
3 40%ers, 2 NIFC, and 1 2005 proof from a box of halves today. That proof had been handled a lot, the cameo was mostly gone and the fields were just a tiny bit mirrored, barely noticeable. And another box didn't come in today, they said it'd be in Thursday's order. I'm bummed, but I can handle just searching 1 box today.

I would not have been happy. Moving back home has to free up more money for searching, no?

    Ikes

Picked up $11 worth when I was dumping at TD over the weekend. Asked for halves and they said no and offered me dollars. I said if they are the big ones. She brought them over and let me take a peak. I could tell they were all clad Ikes but I took them anyway. From what I could see there were no Type 2 Ikes from 72' so I spent them on gas. The lady at the station said "those are worth nothing", I said "they are actually worth a dollar a piece".
