Wow what greedy piece of crap that other guy is that tried to order at that bank...6 boxes! No wonder some banks simply refuse to order, what an idiot, doesn't even realize he's doing himself in.

    I got one box today, 2 40%ers & 1 90%er, so for the week that's 4 boxes for a total of 4 40%ers & 1 90er. 2 of the boxes were skunks.

Box of halves was a skunk!
    Box of Dimes: 1 x 1960 Rosie and 1 x 1963 Rosie

Scored a 1961 Quarter when cashing in at TD Bank.

So at least I got something. This was my 4th Skunk box of halves in my last 6 after my big run a few weeks ago!

NO MORE SKUNKS ON HALVES!!! NO MORE SKUNKS ON HALVES!!! NO MORE SKUNKS ON HALVES!!!

I would love to find some silver in a reject bin...keeping my fingers crossed! If weather is bad tomorrow I'm half-hunting...otherwise finally back to some MDing, either way it's win-win situation.

Must be the TD Bank machines. I haven't had luck looking at coinstars. I think the kids in the grocery stores snag them. So far with the TD Banks I've scored 2 quarters, 3 dimes, and tons of foreign currency (non precious - but I keep it and me and the kids look through it sometimes to learn about other countries).

    Today:
    10 BWR: Skunk
    1 CWR: 1 40%er
    1 Box: 2 proofs, 4 40%ers, and 1 1964 (good box)

Erin: Did you suggest to them that they limit him to 1 to 2 boxes. That guy is going to ruin it for us. He is probably the guy that got WF shut down for us too.

It's been a few weeks since I got some rolls. Ended up getting a box of pennies, $40 in nickels, and $70 in halves. In the end I got 17 wheats (oldest being a 35-s), 9 pre-1959 Jefferson nickels and 2 40% halves. All in all not a bad score.

Box of nickels, no wars, no buffs, 1 1903 v-nick in AG or so, my third v-nick from a roll.

I suggested they stop ordering for a month or so and maybe he will quit. They said they were not going to limit him but if he made another big order, they may have to stop ordering for us. His name is Robert so you can see if he is the same one as your Comerica guy.

Rough day...Went to about 20 banks. My buddy and I were able to find only 2 loose 40%ers.

Found three Wheats at work on Thursday: a 1920, 1941, and 1947.

Today at work, I also found a 1953 Roosevelt lying near the Take-a-Penny tray. I swapped a clad dime I had for it. That makes two silvers this week, and the irony is I didn't have to search a box to find them.

Lousy day...found a bank willing to sell me a bag off of their coin counter machine. Left with $781 in Halves...all SKUNKS!
2 Dime Boxes - Both Skunks.

The Half skunk is now officially over a week. Need some good luck on the halves this week!

    The Results Are In.

And they are not good it is official I think that finding silver in bank boxes is not possible. I did the same order as last week 16 boxes 2 boxes at 8 different banks to spend it out and I just finished shortly ago and not a SINGLE piece of silver NOTHING, NADA, SKUNKED I have to say I read these results on here and don't believe that it is possible. I also got 2 boxes of dimes this week to check them to see if there was anything and those were both skunks. I can officially say that this did cost me money as I found only a few pieces and wasted much time.

My first 2 boxes of Dimes (I figure halfs and quarters are dried up). First box: 2 Roosevelts and a Merc, 2nd box: 1 Roosevelt. Average so far: 2 per box.

    Location: Philly suburbs
    Bank: TD Bank

So I have a question for ya... where exactly are you in the burbs? Competition is getting heavier these days... I'm from Upper Chichester, and I search not only the surrounding vicinity to me, but also around my new job in Newtown Square.

Yes - the one here in Downingtown. Have you used them or dumped there in the past?

So is that now 32 boxes in a row???? That is crazy. If I were you I would just order 1 box a week until you find something considering the unbeliveably bad luck you've had w/ halves. Also since dimes don't seem to produce anything either for you, why not give Nickels a shot. Only $100/box and besides silver war nickels '42-46 there are also buffs you can find and some key date Jefferson's to go after. Besides halves, nickels are my next favorite thing to search. With getting a box a Nickels I would think you are bound to stumble atleast something like I mentioned above.
