Wow, dude... I could totally see my life going that way until very recently, sucks to look at your bank statement going down every month and the CC going up a little every month. The job I just scored fixes all that, and all I can tell you, man, is keep at it, and you'll find something sooner or later. Shame you don't live in the Philly area or I could try to get you a job where I'm working now.

I can tell ya right now, roll searching didn't make me money like I thought it did... Actually, kinda the opposite. I was doing alright, floating, holding stable on my bills and whatnot, then I started roll searching. Dropped my CC payment down, started using it more to build up cash to search with... big mistake. Ended up getting away from me a bit and I went from being $600 from getting outta all debts save my student loans, to being in... a substantial amount of CC debt. Granted, some of it came more from coin purchases, but the bulk of it was mostly me deferring expenses to further my roll searching.

Lesson learned? Be careful with your money. My TD account is now going to be a separate account with no more than $500 in it solely for roll searching, with $20 DD'ed into the account every other week to cover finds and dead loss from the machine.

Although I will say this; liquidation of my finds and my collection would net me a large sum over my current debts.

Rule of Life: NEVER use a credit card unless you ALREADY have the funds to pay it off at the end of the month. There are much better ways to take on a loan at non usurious rates. If you can't afford it, don't buy it (although, I guess if you are out of a job & need to pay rent, then you need to pay. But even then a non CC loan is better).

got 4 roosies from yesterdays box.

    Last night's Dime Box

Visited another different bank on my lunch break after I cashed in. I asked if they could sell me a box of dimes and the nice lady said "we have one to spare for YOU", not sure if that was a compliment or just making some small talk. Put down my 3 Benjamins and got my box and my $50 change and out the door I went. Could not open until after work but this box produced a solid 3 silver Roosie for me.

Now I have close $500 in clad dimes I need to dump on Sat morning, no more searching until then.

    Still no Mercury dime

Forgot to mention one of the dimes was and ender, my first dime ender, although I did not even realize this as I was tearing the rolls open so fast.

My boxes should be in today but on my way out I decided to stop at a BoA that one time produced 1 walker and never anything else. The teller told me that someone just came in and purchased 80 dollars in rolls from her and that I should have been there 30 mins earlier. Of course, I was in the parking lot 30 mins earlier but decided to run into a few stores first.

She had 5 loose coins with one being a '69 so that was good but just makes me think of what could have been

Was able to scroung up $60 and bought some dimes on lunch as I'm still waiting to dump all the clad I have. When I buy less than a box most of the time they give me CWR. I have found these to be pretty awful this month. Obviosuly the $60 I got were skunk. The last $300 total in CWR have produced nothing and about the last $400 I have one Roosie.

    I'm liking BWR for sure.

Anyone else care to chime in?

Bwr of dimes for the win. Customer rolls suck but I've heard of great rolls before. Gonna dump after work and pick up a box myself.

I've found silver in CWR's; in fact, that's what really got me into searching for silver, but I have moved to boxes more recently. Been finding it in boxes, and I have a feeling the CWR finds were kinda lucky...

How does this work? I'm curious to know how you are able to roll search w/o a car? I couldn't imagine walking around carrying boxes from bank to bank.

Btw, some decent scores on the halves there sir.

I ride the trolly (yes, 2 boxes of H's and a box of D's weighs ALOT), or I use The Wife's car, mostly to dump. We'll be getting a new (to us) car soon, and the scheduled box orders are helping with coordination of using The Wife's car for now.

Thank you. I'm fine with what I'm finding, just bummed about the lack of volume... It'll get better soon. :)

Go figure, went for a box today and was a skunk...normal. I did find out a guy cleaned out one of the banks I go to every other week for a box. He got 6 boxes and wanted more so they are talking about stopping ordering...ugh. I would rather they just tell him he can't have that many...

But on the other side, had success at banks finding halves and for the second time this week a roll with 2011 dimes and silver. Kinda weird. Anyway, 8 day run (Not consecutive) searching with silver, no thanks to boxes lol.
