Give it a Grade? 1932-D Washington 25c.

    I would say F as well. The rims need to be full, tho

    "Back in the day" I would have said VG, but I am thinking TPG will grade is a f-12.

    TPG grade: VF 20

    I think many/most of you are undergrading this coin because of the obverse weak strike, not atypical for this issue.

    I know the legend is typically weakly struck, but is the head and rims? That is what I was seeing as the wear. On 32's I ignore the legends.

    Now you need to get NGC or PCGS to grade it and let us know ;)

    My, how grading standards have changed. The ANA grading standards book that I bought in 1977 shows that coin, with half the motto nearly gone and the rim starting to merge with the lettering, as being a Good.
