It is definitely better than an 8, but I am kind of torn between a 10 and a 12. I think I would come down of the side of a 12.
Yeah, when I purchased it I, myself, was torn between a 12 and a 15. Knowing my luck, I'd send it to PCGS and it'd get a 12. I thought it may be possible, if I were to send it to ANACS or another lower-end TPG, it'd get a 15. But honestly, you never know! Depends on how everyone's days are going down at PCGS' headquarters. For all I know, it'd get an 8 from PCGS. Haha! T'is just a gamble, so I figured I keep it raw. Either way, I got it for a fantastic price of $100, which also included a 35-S, so it's as if I paid $95! Not too shabby... -Brian
Thanks for the pic! Nice coin! I think what would most likely make mine a Fine (12 or possible 15) is that the entire motto is still legible. That is something I have noticed from looking at VG and F examples that seperates the grades. Either way, I'm happy with the purchase. -Brian
I would agree with the previous posters that the grade is closer to a Fine-12 than a Fine-15. At any rate, it’s a nice solid coin…congrats! :thumb:
=( thats the last time I post a grade...I guess I mislooked the Making the Grade Washington Quarter guide
It's like you read my mind! Haha, that's exact what I concluded when I bought the coin. Either way, I'm satisfied. -Brian
