I picked up 20 examples of the 2011-D Glacier National Park Quarter at the Denver Mint Gift Shop today. Below are photos of one of them.

I am certainly much happier with the National Parks series so far as compared to the State series. Much more thoughtful designs and no wasted space. This one is pretty nice. Looking forward to getting it.

I just picked up my first one, it is missing the "L" in Liberty and the "I" is weak. I posted in "Error Coins", no signs of tampering or wear, the edge is clean. Need help finding out if this is a common error of some kind.

Looks like the coin was struck weakly at the mint.

    Thanks

  5. I like the ATB designs better than the SQ designs. The Glacier example you posted looks pretty banged up (MS60-MS62 or perhaps MS63 at best). These may be tough to find in gem BU+. TC

Yeah, they were all pretty rough. No gems in the bunch that I bought.

I have every atb quarter produced so far in a minimum grade of ms65 for each. In hi grades and proofs,i have a yosemite proof, they are amazing. The designs are so detailed and much more beautiful then the sq's
