Is this normal for a penny?

    I was looking through my pennies, and i found the newer pennies with the one cent shield on the back. I checked the year, and it says 20H, not 2011. Is that normal?

    this is the penny. I thought it was just some dirt between the 1's for 2011, but i tried to scratch it off and it is metal

    It looks to me like the "crossbar" in the "H" is just a stain/discoloration, and not a Mint error.

    I agree. It looks like a fingerprint which has discolored...and created the illusion of an "H."

    It is 2a.m, I was wondering if it is my blurry eyes or does the earlobe look funny?
