Lol it's not raining silver in Texas. I can assure you that. 5-40% in last 20 boxes. However I did find 3-90% and 10-40% in loose yesterday! As for Erin, I'm convinced he is using the same 20 64 kennedy's in his pics! Lol!!!! Erin, how do you do it? Turn in $120 in rolls, go to the bathroom, walk back up and say you found $120 in silver?? HAHAHA!Awesome score man! Are you a superhero?

Truth is my kids like to act like bank tellers. So I have been finding the same silver over and over for 2 years. I turn it in, go back later and ask for rolls of halves. Each time I get rolls from them I have to act all excited, but hey they get a kick out of so why stop? I figure they should grow out of it soon.

Box of dimes, 4 silver dimes (1 '44, rest were roosies) and one silver pendant that's .999 silver, but half as thick as a dime.

  10. Well, I had a fun day at the bank Friday. I went in to pick up a new box of cents (the tellers that work Friday afternoons know me pretty well, and I try to stop by once a week). First, I went over to the coin counting machine, and put my hand into the reject bin. There's a little chute that the coins come down, but they usually get stuck, and most people don't noticed. I walked away with a fistful of change, mostly foreign money, including two silver Canadian quarters. Then, as the teller went to fetch me my box of pennies, I noticed that the one a few spots down had two Ikes in the dollars slot, and what looked like a bunch of halves. When my teller came back, I asked if I could buy the Ikes and halfs. She nodded and went to get them. She grabbed the halves, only to tell me that they were all Ikes! It felt like my heart was going to jump out of my chest. I don't know why, but I've always loved Ikes, even though they aren't worth too much. I ended up walking out with a fresh box of pennies and 13 new Ikes to add to my hoard.

In the box of pennies, I got 29 wheats (second best yet, the top being 34), including a 1919, 1929, 1930, and 1934. It was a good trip to the bank :D

Oh, I also have the pictures of the 1903 Indian Head that I found on the end of the roll. It's not in the best of shapes, but hey, for $0.01, I'll take it. Here it is --> http://imageshack.us/g/151/p5130118.jpg/

Found $71 today at a bank, I only had $19 on me, so I took one roll and $1 loose. I was skunked, BUT the roll I got was a mixed bag, ranging from 1971 - 2001. Also, the rolls were about a 4-3 split. 4 of the rolls were cardboard colored, with dark stripes on them, the others were solid cardboard colored with '$10 halves' typed out on it. This leads me to believe that the other $60 is either not from one person, OR is not a skunk dump but someone cashing in what they had/saw laying around. I hope there is something there worth finding. Also, they were all CWR...and from the same WF bank that had the lady spot checking the $2 loose she handed over to me the other day but she was not working, or I didn't see her anyway. Needless to say, on payday they will be the last bank I hit, but I will swing by none the less.

Lowest percentage of copper cents to date, 12% copper, when I started the count was usually between 25 and 30 percent. Has anyone else who pulls copper noticing the percentage starting to drop?

I had a phase of declining copper pulls for a little while, but the last box I did was about 30%; it's all in the volume my friend. :)

I live near Newark. Tomorrow I'm gonna pick up my first box of dimes while I try to order a box of halves. Hopefully I'm not "SOL", haha.

Did $25 in CWR cents yesterday(bank didn't have a box) which actually turned out decent. I found 25 wheat cents oldest being a 1926 which I needed for my book :). 23 Canadian cents oldest being a 1940 and 2 British pennies. I found 5 S mint marks 1 1972, 3 1973 and 1 1974. I also got $6.15 in copper cents along with 2 dimes! Overall I thought it turned out pretty well...
