It's not a high-dollar item, but I really like this 1962 proof nickel

GREAT Jefferson, I collect them and have just received 5 nice proofs.
    But that is a beauty.

    Thanks.
It's amazing that a coin like that one could still be selling for just $1 - $2

I bought several Lincoln proofs for my ongoing quest of a p, d, s memorial set. I won't post nearly all of them, but this one caught my interest for the reverse toning...sort of blends the typical red color of traditional cents with the whitish color of the modern proofs. Sort of neat I thought. Enjoy. Oh, and forgive the dust particulates. Photo tip of the day: NEVER photograph your coins after running your vaccuum cleaner.

Here's a better pic of the tone...since I still fail at capturing it. Pic shows the nice orange, red, and purple tones.

    Why? Doesn't look cameo.

Not sure just what you are looking at or for, but that coin will grade deep cameo or ultra cameo depending on where you submit it. The fields are mirrored and Abe is matte.

The post I quoted was discussing a nickel, not the cent, which is admittedly quite nice, even though that toning will turn some off.

Yep been there and am still going through the site. Found that 2 of the 9 Liberty Seated Dimes that I bought were on their varieties list. This one is actually #3 on their top 100 list.
