Yesterday I went to the local Federal Credit union Bank got $4.00 in pennies. Found out I recieved 6 rolls of the new 2011 Shield cents. Now I think I'm ahead of the mint by not buying them from the mint and the postage. I look for pennies from 1959 - 1981.
I can't figure out and don't want to figure it out for the 1982 so I give them back. Also look for wheats and anything else I can find. My wife thinks I'm crazy.

What are you looking for in that range? There's not much of real value other that a few double dies.

Don't forget the '92 Close AM and the '98,'99,'00 Wide AM. My eyes are nowhere near good enough to spot doubling so I generally toss everything except the '92, '98 and '99 which I accumulate until I have about 100 or so and then sit down with a magnifier and a good light to look through them.
