I also have a DDR - 1892 Half - and the photorapher went crazy imaging all the parts of the reverse. I'll post his images once I get them into Photobucket.
Thanks for them sharing with US!!! EB:thumb: 2 More Gemmy Barbers! MS-64 looks better than what Pcgs graded it as! :kewl:
The 1896-S is "One of The Big Three" and very rare as such. Congrats on the pick up. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1894 Quarters...
Many thanks for that Elbesaar! I absolutely love some of the beautiful barbers you have posted as well. Big thanks for sharing them with us!
I like all Barbers - from AG thru PR 68 DCAM - this is one of the most nobelest designs we have ever had.
EB:thumb: Very nice Gemmy Barbers Au-MS PR-68 DC or Cameo really are not to bad on the bank account. but to high for me at this time.fixed income sucks!!! http://www.pcgs.com/prices/PriceGuideDetail.aspx?MS=1&PR=1&SP=1&c=732&title=Barber+Half+Dollar
Really? I admit they are neat, and if I were to ever find one in circulation I would probably pass out. However, I can only imagine living the time period of the Barber series...I reach in my pocket, pull out a dime, quarter, half and heck even a V-nickle..."Hey, all my coins look the same...bogus dude." I would say. However, the Barber series beats the crap out of the quarter since 1999, and the dime IMO..well not the Winged Liberty, the Roosevelt. My two cents..IHCs, ofcourse =D
Kanderus - if you used that language - they would think you were not of this world. Seriously, ..." bogus dude..." ???
Yeah, but today the coins are all basically the same too... a old dead dude's head on one side and like something most non-triumphant on the other side.
