I am a big fan of the SMS. The coins are beautiful.

Those are running right at $10, so if you got it under $10, you did good.

 

I think it is a great set for $10. Some silver, and some stunning coins.

Nice set! I love the 1965-67 SMS coins. One of my ultimate goals is to piece together a set of all 3 years with cameo.

 

I always liked the simple straight forward holder that the mint used for this year. I wish they'd continued to use it as storage of these sets would have been easier for collectors of mint/proof sets. Nice set Alan.....

Nice looking set!

Not trying to steal your thunder but I just bought the 1965, 1966 and 1967 Half, all NGC certified MS66 for $59. I'm wondering if that was too much to pay now that I see that set you picked up for $10:dismay:

 

OK First when you buy from ebay you can get lucky.
I have been doing it for a long time,and you sort of get a feel for what you could win.
You have three great coins, and slabbed half's can be expensive I think you did just fine.

Here is one I won about 10 minutes ago, I paid less than four dollars for it.
I is a nice coin silver and will fit into my collection just fine.

Thank you. I felt pretty good about it but I'm inexperienced too. I've read that the special mint set coins were handled pretty rough compared to proofs so the ms66 grade was attractive to me.
