Finally got 2011 coinage - stop the presses!

Went to the party store, because I like to party. I saw some 2011 cents in the 'take a penny' tray. I asked the dude behind counter if he had rolls of them. Bam, he gave me 4 rolls. Last year I got all my 2010 rolls from a 7-11 store. I can never get them at my banks. Go figure.

I got my first 4 2011s on May 8th. Was surprised to see them so early in the year, lately it's taken until the start of fall to get any.

 

I have a sneaky suspicion that there won't be a D in the bunch. My Dansco album shall go wanting.

 

i started finding 2011 uk 50ps in november 2010. figure that one out lol

 

The suppliers must be low on circulated coinage, at least the ones with the N.F. String wrappers. Brinks is still circulated stuff, but over the past week or so, I've gotten 5 boxes of 2011 cents. And a box each of 2011 nickels and dimes. I'll have to stop searching String boxes for a bit, I guess, until they get their circulated coin supplies up. Gbroke, if you want tons of 2011 cents (or some nickels or dimes), let me know. I've been debating whether it's worth putting the cent boxes up on ebay. The cents are all P I think tho, probably.

 

I found my first 2011 in a strange location. I was on vacation in Memphis, Tennessee on April 16th, and I was given a penny to throw into a wishing well at Graceland (Elvis Presley's home), approximately ten feet from ELVIS PRESLEY'S GRAVE. As I looked over at his grave, I glanced at the penny and saw the date. Weird, huh?

I live in D country where almost every new coin is from Denver. I'll post my 2011-D Cent when my batteries for my camera are charged. At this point, I'm not holding on to any since I suspect an abundance later.

 

I've gotten the cent, nickel, dime and quarters for 2011. Found my first Glacier quarter this week at work in a BofA roll.

 

plenty of cents dimes and glacier phillies in my neck of the woods. thats about it though

 

So, two days ago I had no 2011 coins! Well yesterday I went to my grandmother's house and I noticed that my sister who had came with me, had put some change on the spare room's dresser. I looked at it and saw a 2011-D Dime, and a 2011-D Nickel! Today, as I looked at my grandfather's change I saw a 2011 Penny and quickly snatched that up!

 

I just noticed the 2 appears to be rotated right. Is this the new normal?

 

I've gotten every 2011 denomination except the quarter.

 

Only cents, dimes and 1 half dollar here

 

I got a 2010 Dollar only......Sad cause I had been saving and saving to buy one and right when I got it-BOOM!!!!!!ITS 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i have gotten tons of pennies dimes and nickels but havent come across one single ATB quarter. honestly i dont think i have gotten 1 ATB quarter at all in change. wonder why

 

Me either! Gusee we have somthing in common! LOL

 

Because they're getting minted in numbers next to nothing. I've only gotten 2 Hot Springs Quarters since the start of the program.

 

Last week I got 4 2011-D dimes, and today I got a 2011-D nickel in change
